Connecting People with Purpose. Explore the directory
Find a business

Use the Community Dashboard for member management. The notification inbox is a reminder system, not the full member directory.

Before you begin

You must manage the selected organization. Being an approved member or a business owner does not grant management access. Changes are available only while the controlled community pilot is enabled.

Locate the right record

  1. Open Community Dashboard, select your organization, and choose Open organization.
  2. Select Memberships. Use Applications for pending requests; Members for previously approved relationships; or Decision history for decided requests, including declined applications.
  3. Search by display name, account name, or numeric request number. Select a status and sort order as needed, then choose Apply filters.
  4. Open the matching record and check the person, organization, request number, and current status before changing anything.

The list offers 25, 50, or 100 records per page. A search applies across matching records, not just those visible on the current page. The Members view can include expired, suspended, and revoked relationships that were previously approved; filter to Approved for current approvals. Decision history shows each relationship’s latest decided state, not every audit event.

Choose an available action

Approve accepts a pending request or restores an eligible suspended relationship. Suspend stops an approved relationship’s access. Revoke removes the relationship’s access. Renew extends an approved or expired relationship after verification. Only actions valid for the current state are offered.

Enter a short review reason. Approval and renewal require the verification confirmation and an approval lifetime of 30 to 730 days. The default is 365 days. You cannot review your own request. A revoked relationship cannot currently be restored through these controls; do not revoke one merely to test renewal.

Confirm the outcome

Check the saved state and expiration date. The same underlying relationship is used in the member’s community view. Reading or marking a notification unread does not change that state. A status decision may create a new on-site notice for the applicant; email depends on separate delivery settings.

When the record cannot be found or changed

Check the selected organization, use the correct tab, clear the status filter, and try the account name or request number. If a conflict message appears, another action may have updated the record: reload before deciding again. Do not share passwords, identity documents, or unnecessary sensitive details in review notes.

The equivalent Business affiliations section manages business relationships, not individual memberships. Sponsorship, ownership, and community membership remain distinct.
